It is with a big regret I have to announce that one of my dearest online friends have suddenly passed away, far too early, leaving her mother.

Shawn Leimomilani Carter was a very sweet and caring person with beautiful mind and soul. I met her online 10 years ago when I just started collecting on Blythe dolls and she quickly became one of my best online friends. Even if our friendship was “just online” we shared a lot of fun and serious stories about our lives and I feel happy to have been one of her friends.

I remember we sent items to each other and I have received beautifully crafted doll clothes made by her that is made entirely by hand, you would assume it is made on machine! I also had the pleasure to send Apple Blossom, my first Blythe doll, on a vacation to Hawaii as the final part of a long journey.

Rest in peace, dear Shawn.

Here are some photos that make me think of Shawn!

As a fellow Blythe-lover, I found your website by chance today, and though I don’t know you or Shawn, I must say I am very sorry to hear about your friend. Thank you for sharing these lovely pictures in memory of her. I’m sure she will be missed by many. I am sorry for your loss.
